School Nurse Visit
As your child has entered full time school, we would like to welcome and introduce you to the School Nursing Service. The welcome pack that gives more details on the role of the School Nurse and the Service is available in the documents attached below.
If parents do not want their child to be included in our Height Weight and Vision screening programme, please let us know in writing immediately. You can message us on ClassDojo if you do not want your child to be included in the screening programme.
This website aims to give you an insight into the life of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.
Birchgrove Primary School is situated in the village of Birchgrove on the outskirts of the city of Swansea. We put creativity at the heart of the curriculum and have developed a “listening to learners approach” to school improvement. There is an established School Council and a Learning group which provides inputs from the children into whole school developments and a parent consultation group. There is a Forest school area within the grounds which is used extensively for learning by children across the school.
