“Make time to read”

The Welsh Assembly Government is working towards raising the literacy and numeracy standards of children in Wales aged 7-11. The current focus has been on raising awareness amongst the parents, carers and grandparents of this target group. An information leaflet has been produced called “Make time to read” and has been distributed widely across Wales (2011).
